Following the success of the original #915 Play Family Farm, Fisher-Price introduced the #952 Play Family House the next year, creating two of the longest-running and most beloved sets in the Little People lineup. Known for its evolving furniture color schemes, changing approximately every two years, the house offers a wealth of variations that continue to captivate collectors and completists. One of the rarest and most sought-after accessories from this set is the cardboard moving van, a fragile and short-lived piece discontinued after just one year, making surviving examples highly valuable. In 1980, production shifted to a redesigned Play Family House with a modern brown and white color scheme and updated exterior lithographs, while maintaining much of the original interior design.
