The Fisher-Price Little People Garage #2504 was produced from 1986–1990 as the replacement for the long-running Play Family Garage #930. Early 1986 versions closely resembled the classic design, featuring a masonite base, red ramp, and bright green service lift. In 1987, the set was redesigned with a yellow plastic base, blue ramp, and new accessories including a fire hydrant, parking meter, open phone booth, and gas pump, while the service lift was removed entirely. Although durable and colorful, many collectors and longtime fans prefer the earlier garage designs for their classic masonite construction and more realistic appearance, making the early #2504 versions especially desirable today.
