Produced from 1981–1985, the Fisher-Price Little People Jetliner #182 reimagined the earlier Fun Jet with a fresh yellow-and-green color scheme and a more streamlined look. Gone was the open cockpit and wooden pilot, replaced by a sleek tinted windshield for a modern feel, while the luggage colors shifted to blue and brown. The biggest update came with the figures: this set introduced a new dark green dad and yellow mom with brown hair, created specifically for this release. In 1986, the design continued with the Fisher-Price Little People Jetliner #2360, which featured the same airplane shape in updated colors along with similar luggage and a family of four sporting molded plastic hair, marking the transition into the next generation of Little People styling.
