It is the second set of Sesame Street extras and was produced for just one year, following the less popular first extras set (#939). Notably, this set introduced four exclusive—and now highly collectible, figures not found in either the #938 Sesame Street or #937 Sesame Street Clubhouse sets: Sherlock Hemlock, Prairie Dawn, Snuffle-upagus, and Herry Monster. The set also includes three other beloved characters, Grover, Roosevelt Franklin, and The Count, who appeared in the Clubhouse set as well.
