McDonald's® #430 Playset

McDonald's® #430 Playset

Produced between 1974 and 1976, the Playskool McDonald’s® Familiar Places Playset is a wonderfully detailed “blast from the past” that captures the look and feel of a classic 1970s McDonald’s restaurant. The building features the iconic red walls, brown roof, and a red-and-brown tiled dining floor, along with the instantly recognizable Golden Arches sign. Designed with thoughtful play features, the set includes seven Play Friends figures—staff and customers—along with cars for the parking lot, a cash register that rings when tapped, trays that tuck neatly under the figures’ chins, and a clever tray return where trays slide out one-by-one. Outside, kids could enjoy a playground merry-go-round and patio table for outdoor dining, all set atop a colorful playmat with a parking lot, whimsical “burger” bushes, and a center space for the McDonald’s building. Today, this nostalgic set remains a favorite among collectors who appreciate its creativity, interactive features, and unmistakable vintage McDonald’s charm.
